Dear past and current lifeguards,

We at the University of Chichester and Kings College London, in collaboration with the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), would like to invite you to take part in our exciting study. You will be asked to complete a set of twelve short tasks and a brief questionnaire. These tasks have been developed by Cognitron with the purpose to learn more about human intelligence.

By completing these tasks, you will be helping us identify which mental processes are important to successfully carry out lifeguard duties. Please ensure you read the Information Sheet carefully, if you haven’t already, before continuing with this study. Remember your involvement is completely voluntary and is greatly appreciated.
